Fall 2026 RSM Forum (with Dr. LeRoy Lawson)

On Wednesday, October 7, we’ll be gathering at CBU’s Westport location in St. Louis for the Russell School of Ministry Forum. Dr. E. LeRoy Lawson will lead two sessions on what it means to lead faithfully through tragedy, both when tragedy enters our own lives and when it enters the lives of the people we serve.

Session 1 | 10:30–11:30 a.m.

Dr. Lawson brings more than six decades of experience as a pastor, professor, university president, author, and consultant. His ministry has included senior pastoral leadership, the presidency of Hope International University, teaching at Emmanuel Christian Seminary, and decades of consulting with churches and ministry leaders navigating difficult seasons. His writing and speaking have addressed Christian leadership, spiritual formation, and the life of the church, including his deeply personal 2023 book, Son, We Need to Talk: Coping with My Son’s Suicide.
