Preacher-Elder Bootcamp

NOTE: Cohorts will start in September, but dates and times will vary depending on the specific cohort to which you are assigned. Dates should be considered TBD.

This twelve-month experience will help your church grow in its leadership and improve the collaboration between the senior minister and the elders.

This experience takes place in two distinct phases.

• In Phase 1 (4 months), preachers and senior ministers meet in a cohort with other preachers and an experienced mentor who can walk through the ins and outs of the preacher-elder relationship. (There is also an option for the elder chair to join these).
• In Phase 2 (8 months), preachers and senior ministers continue to meet in a cohort, but with the addition of monthly discussion and coaching calls for the elders.

All meetings are via Zoom and will cover the following valuable leadership areas:

1. Elder roles, mission, vision, and values.
2. Elder and Minister decision rights. 
3. New Elder Pipeline best practices.
4. Best practices of Preacher - Elder relationships.
5. How to build trust.
6. Healthy Constitution and Bylaws.
7. Conflict resolution.
8. Staffing, structure, and culture.
9. How to approach your elders about all this!

We are offering this coaching for only $50 a month for the first four months (Phase 1), then $199 per month for the remaining eight months (Phase 2).
